Responding to modern slavery: the contours of an effective approach

See Sasha Jesperson and Saskia Marsh's article discussing the findings of an independent evaluation of the UK Government's Modern Slavery Innovation Fund. The evaluation has identified a number of best practices for the future, including on the need for projects to be embedded in a deep contextual understanding and engage in a variety of activities. And while research and evidence generation is also important, it needs to be linked to tangible policy or programmatic outcomes.
